The mission of The Chris Thomas Memorial Fund is to continue Chris’s legacy
by providing scholarships to aspiring electricians.
To know Chris was to love him!
He lit up every room with his warmth, quick wit, and comedic charm. Upon graduating from North Reading High School, Chris enlisted in the Army and served in the 101st Airborne Division. After the Army, he became an electrical apprentice and took classes at The Peterson School to become a licensed electrician. Chris worked his trade at a few companies, then opened his own business and excelled at his craft. Chris was proud to become a member of the local 103 IBEW and most recently worked for the Boston Public Schools. In his free time, Chris enjoyed working out at the gym bright and early in the morning, listening to his favorite songs, and passionately indulging in food of all kinds! His daughter, Courtney, whom he shared with his wife, Cheryl, was his pride and joy, and all of his family adored him; especially his many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Our hope is to keep Chris's legacy alive by providing scholarships to aspiring electricians.
